The location was remote, really close to a near 80 degree hill which lead onto a main road, restaurant, and the River Nene. Besides, it was 15 min drive to Whittlesey Baptist Chapel.

The hotel was in the remote setting on a slope of 100 mm. The breakfast was gorgeous and reasonable with home cured bacon, with excellent food. The staff was outstandingly accommodating, rooms were well-designed and modern.

The beautiful surroundings with a river running by made for a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the availability of books and DVDs was a nice touch. The breakfast offered a good variety and was thoroughly enjoyable.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

All in all it was good value, considering prices in Peterborough. Accommodation was pleasant and fairly clean, rooms were spotless. The staff was welcoming and made it a comfortable stay. The hotel took care of the friendly service.
